Awesome interview. I like that you interviewed another Substack writer. I feel like there’s a ton of good writers on this platform and it’s great to be introduced to new ones. Please keep those coming!
Nailed it when naming 2% the perfect middle ground. I am that working parent that does not have time for long podcasts. I appreciate your thoughtful work! This interview was intriguing.
I had a random thought while you were explaining the 2% movement and the thought behind it. What if enough people have read “The Comfort Crisis” and that percent of people who take the stairs has since gone up to 3, 4 or even 5%? That would be amazing!
That was such an awesome answer on why we should take the stairs. We just moved to a new home and even though I run or hike every day, I have been exhausted and sore at night from moving and unpacking boxes. It has taught me that I am out of shape for certain types of physical activity. I really like your suggestion of adding kettlebells to my normal workout routine and I am going to try that.

Will do! More to come!

I love the idea that your thought is even possible. I hope that it's true!

Sometimes having to do random physical tasks like moving is a good reminder of what our exercise routines are missing. :)
