I am still not fully understanding substack, but I subscribed immediately to Melissa Urban when she joined the platform https://blog.melissau.com and when she recommends something along the lines of health experiments I am all in, so I subscribed immediately to you. I have become adept at slight tweaks to my daily routine that help me feel my best after I received a traumatic brain injury 13 years ago. Looking forward to learning more from you!
Done and done! Comfort Crisis came to me recently and it couldn’t have been better timing! It has guided me in so many of my internal dialogues while navigating this transition, can’t wait to rock the hat during my rucks! My ruck strap broke this weekend doing a hero WOD and I laughed to myself and said “no problem, no story” and found some creative ways to complete it with one strap! Thanks for what you do!
Immediately subscribed. Just made my family walk up 6 flights of stairs and when my kids asked why we couldn’t take the elevator, I told them “We’re a 2% family!”. I’m excited to see where this 2% community goes.
I'm all in! This is very exciting news! Comfort Crisis changed my life, my husband and I have incorporated Rucking into our current Yoga Teacher training. Who would ever imagine Yoga and Rucking together lol. We aren't your typical Yoga people. So stoked for this, thanks Michael.
Please say more on how you’ve incorporated rucking into yoga! Those are the two main things I do. Recently admired in stretching and kettlebell swings. Always looking for ways to combine
Hi Mike. We have taught Yoga for about 12 years and own a studio in California. So we lead 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings. After reading “The Comfort Crisis” I wanted to have our trainees Ruck. I have found profoundly valuable lessons about myself out on the trails of Auburn with 30lbs on my back. So I wanted to share this with my community which happen to be Yoga people. We don’t Ruck and do yoga at the same time. We just mostly expose our Yoga community to it and take anyone who is willing to ruck out to ruck!
You've literally changed my life for the better. I've taken on rucking, been introduced to GoRuck and The Ready State and so many other cool, actionable things. My wife recently lost her job and while we have to make decisions on where we spend the money for this to continue working towards a better version of myself is worth it.
Thank you for your support, Mike, and I'm so glad to hear my work has been useful. Don't ever hesitate to reach out and let me know topics you'd like me to cover. Keep up the good work!
Was literally thinking about something like this halfway through a 12 mile ruck this past Saturday. While re-listening to The Comfort Crisis. The potential for this is astounding. How much science never makes it into the hands of the every day person? Probably a lot, I found the information I have read thus far very helpful.
"Was literally thinking about something like this halfway through a 12 mile ruck this past Saturday." Haha—you're my people. I love it. Thanks for your support.
Hi Cheryl, you can change the amount, but not to less than the annual subscription. Most founding members will opt in for the full amount. Let me know if you have any other questions.
wonderful -- checking it out -- there are tenets of this that I've used with my patients over the decades and in my writings -- will be interesting to see what more you have to offer -- thanks!
Your book it at the top of my list and I have read a lot. I use a lot of your thoughts as I manage my group of 12 managers. “Do the hard stuff”. Looking forward to learning more from you.
Michael, Take my money! I know this is going to be an incredibly valuable Substack and I'm thrilled to be a paid subscriber. Can't wait to see what you build here!
I admire what an outstanding person you are. You do so much, try to absorb as much useful knowledge as you can and share it with people. It's people like you that motivate me to go and reach the top.
Love this - totally worth the money. Thank you!
Many thanks, Mikki!

NO PROBLEM, NO STORY! I love it. Thank you for joining.
I was intrigued by this book. I will add it to my list. Great quote and approach to the problem. I am proud of you.

Also, any chance of a 2% Mom cap? 😬

Those are my two main ways to exercise. I think one helps the other for sure.
I agree with everything that's been said by others, this is an instant-subscribe for me.
Fantastic, Stephen. Thank you for your support. Let's make this awesome.
Me, too.

Keep the book suggestions coming! I grabbed Rick Rubin's and Outlive immediately.
Absolutely agree with you, it's definitely worth the money.

Hey... my screen allows me to change the $247/year paid as Founding member to a different amount -- should that be that way???
