Why is no one talking about the potato post?! It was my favorite, I have a whole new love for them 🥔🥔🥔

We’re still talking about the potato post at home!

Haha! I shared that with a potato-loving friend and called it “ode to the potato!” Such a great post!

Officially touched the big potato yesterday... After passing it almost three times without seeing it.

Mine is definitely the Misogi post. I love this idea so much. Not only did my wife and I achieve ours last year, we are actively planning our 2025 Misogi’s. We are trying to get our girls involved ( aged 15 and 13) but they are less excited about the process than we are. But hopefully as they see what we are putting in and getting out of it….they will see the value.

The rest of the articles you listed are all tops too. This has been a great year of learning and walking the path. Thanks ME for doing this. It has been a life changer. Looking forward to the 2025 2% January challenge(s).

Thank you Michael! 2% is my favorite thing. You seem to always have a post about something I’m curious about and introduced me to some stellar people(Adam Bornstein/Wendy Bounds) and this awesome community. What a year this was. Looking forward!

Great recap of some great posts. One personal favorite was the post that looked at calories burned while rucking. But loved them all, and can’t wait for the January challenge!

Really loved the rucking 101 post and the one about how many calories you burn while rucking!

I can do 1/3 bodyweight at about 3.75mph on flat surface for an hour or more, but I would LOVE to meet that 220 lb guy who rucks *on hills* with 1/3 bodyweight at 5mph!

Michael, I don’t have a favorite. Some of the best posts also had great comments which I enjoy reading. I think of you as a Zen master guiding us through life’s daily trials and tribulations. Anything from walking to rucking, gear not stuff, and mental to physical challenges. I am looking forward to 2025 and enjoy going on this journey with you. Cheers!

Thanks for all of your fantastic comments this year, Dom. I really enjoyed getting to hang out with you at the Don't Die event.

Thanks for all the wisdom you share with us Michael! I’m now up to 5-7 miles daily on my walking pad that I finally pulled the trigger on this year. Kicking myself for not doing that sooner, as it makes my work day much more enjoyable. I also finished out the year with a PR on my rucking…8 miles with 30lbs. Comfort Crisis was a huge eye opener for me, & lead me here to your newsletter. I preach the good word of 2% to anyone who will listen! LOL Wishing you & the 2% community a very Happy & Healthy New Year!

The leg workout was my fav. I was able to implement and saw results very quick when out hunting wild hogs with my heavy .308 AR-10 and 15 lb pack.

I kept waiting for the burn to hit as I was climbing steep grades, but it never came as bad as 3 weeks prior to doing the leg work out.

It works!!

That's what we're after. I'm glad it worked. Fitness is so critical to ethical hunting.

I want to be your wife… however I think I have too many Zoom meetings and I don’t want to be a crazy bobbing head in them, so I think I’ll have to settle for getting a standing desk this year and just walking whenever I’m not in a meeting. LOL But in all seriousness, thanks for such a variety of deep and thought-provoking articles. Looking forward to what 2025 brings here!
